Venue

Our modern conference venue is located at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Tygerberg Campus of the University of Stellenbosch. The City of Tygerberg is a modern, prosperous city located in the heart of the Cape Peninsula 25km north-east of Cape Town at the south-western tip of Africa.



Tygerberg takes its name (in Dutch) from the tiger-like strips of vegetation on the hills overlooking the City. From these hills there is an unequalled view of Table Mountain and Table Bay to the west and the winelands to the north. Beautiful open areas, like the Durbanville and Tygerberg Nature Reserves and the nationally renowned Rose Garden, all add their special flavour to Tygerberg´s unique tranquil character. Tygerberg is rich in cultural and historical diversity.
