Conference Program

The organisers of the 2nd African PACS & RIS conference are currently putting together a full program of lectures, demonstrations, and tutorials for this year’s conference. We will cover some of the old stuff from the last conference for our new comers and lots of new stuff for those of you joining us again, the main aim is to share our experiences, learn from our experience and improve the overall knowledge of PACS & RIS in Africa. Here is a list of some of the topics which will be covered during this year’s conference.

Lecture 1: Developing a RFP (Request For Proposal), Defining business process into requirements.
Lecture 2: Project Management, Getting it delivered on time and in budget and the roll project management plays before, during and after the implementation.
Lecture 3: Service Level Agreements, How do you get your vendor to maintain your system effectively, who’s responsible for what?
Lecture 4: Contingency planning, Prepare for the worst, and pray it never happens.
